My Travels and Home Stays

Hello Dear Readers,  (Note: you'd be more 'dear' if you help financed my travels... hint, hint.)
I am posting because I wanted to give everyone an outline of my scheme... ok, plan!
Here's the strait talk:   I will be traveling and staying with different families throughout Japan for periods of 1-2 Weeks.  I've been in Onihachiman for 3 weeks now and plan to visit Hiroshima, Toyama, and Tokyo.
Transportation: Seishun 18 Kippu Train This $28 ticket allows you to travel anywhere in japan over a period of 24 hours, for a fraction of what it costs to take the bus or bullet train. Sweet!
I will hopefully have Internet access but not will not post frequently
Thanks for reading!
Best Regards, jordan gamble

  1. Is it only for 24 hours? Or is it for 5 days, like the website says? It sounds like an asian version of the Eurail pass that Levi used a few summers back? I have to say that not hearing from you will be VERY difficult for me, but we had the happen a few times on Levi and Peter's trip as well. I guess I will survive. I hope you have a wonderful time there. I have heard that the Hiroshima Memorial is VERY moving. I have never seen it. I wonder if there is any radiation left in the area? You might want to take a geiger counter. I will pray for an open and alert mind, safe travels and wondrous discoveries. You are amazing!

  9. You people have no sense of humor nor reality! I make a simple request and bam, I comments with nothing but excuses! If your going to say no, then at least give me some hope for the future generosity! Would you consider funding my college life?
